I didn't know you all were switching to that. I just set it up on a server I have and have some friends there. I got the free one and really like it. Some friends are going to help change it some but for the most part they all like it.

We may end up buying it soon...did you all buy it?

Al will have to answer most questions;  he's the one doing the majority of the legwork with the software.

No, we intend to use the free version.  It appears the major difference between free and paid is the ability to remove Invision's logo and copyright.  We'd want to promote the company anyway, so we opted to stay free.

We do intend to import as many skins as possible, giving each member a cornicopia of choices.  It'll be a bit different, not "being in control" of the board look, but it will allow personalization....some of us having a fondness for LARGER type.  we's old, what can I say?
Do not fear your enemies.  The worse they can do is kill you.  Do not fear friends.  At worst, they may betray you.
Fear those who do not care; they neither kill nor betray, but betrayal and murder exist because of their silent consent.

Well, if you need any help, I can do that for you. I had some help with mine, but if it's the problem of importing the database from here to there, I'm not so sure about that. But I can get you some help.

Hey, John, I want to thank you for bringing this up...

For quite a while I was looking for a hosting service for ( what is in reallity) my web hobby. By checking out the IPS web site, I found it. Reasonable rates for many great features.

My account is all set up, including the board...now to add content.
