NATO officers hacked in Facebook Scam

Apparently Facebook can be a platform for espionage:

And this is news because "Officers" are supposed to be more intelligent than the average Internet/FB user?

I offer three solutions:

1. Train every single interweb user of how to use a computer/smart phone.
2. Make FB/Google/Yahoo/etc. responsible (meaning an escalating series of fines based on the number of failures, ultimately ending at a complete shutdown of the enterprise) for better security of their own servers/software.
3. Mass canceling "Social networking" subscriptions/use (although this leave all previous info susceptible to misuse/abuse.

I'll not be holding my breath for any of the above to occur. Ever. There will always be ignorance and people happy to take advantage of it.
