OK, I have made the Pecan Brownies many, many times! They always get raves. :truly delicious:

I also have dabbled into substituting English walnuts for the pecans — also very good.

AND, my eldest daughter gave me a large bag of Black Walnuts for Christmas. (I store them in the freezer).

Made a couple of batches of 'Pecan' Brownies substituting them. Also very excellent! :yummie:

But, it's hard to beat the Pecan Brownies.

For those trying to follow the links in my original posts, I corrected them just a bit ago. I don't know why sites have to rearrange long standing pages. wink.gif
