Oh, what a bummer!  I got a really severe ankle sprain August 1, torn tendons, and summer for me ground to a halt, except for swimming and kayaking. Damn thing still hurts nasty sometimes.

Hope you get over yours quicker, if they give you a boot to wear, do wear it. It was too hot for me to wear mine, and it takes longer to heal.

Thanks ! They didn't give me a boot, just wrapped it in gauze, with an ace bandage over that. They did give me a shoe, that looks like a big Velcro-fastened sandal. I got rid of that doctor (lots of reasons) and got a new one, who I will be seeing on Monday. I'm anxious to find out if it is healing well. I only broke one bone, the 5th metatarsal, so maybe I should consider myself lucky.

Im off to physical therapy today, and its finally feeling better. But still no tennis with my grandson, I cant run without it hurting a lot.
My doctor did give me one of those velcro-sneaker looking things, it laces up too. But I dont like it, so I just wear my garden shoes or my sneakers.

Hope yours is better quickly, its sure a pain to have this in the good weather.
