I was checking into a 'cognitive training' program offered by a reputable insurance provider and then read their Privacy Policy from the third-party company. It specifically mentioned that this third-party company would have my insurance account number. Then it mentioned that my claims history would be analyzed by yet another third-party (fourth-party?) and shared with the first, third-party. Is this 'party' getting confused yet?!
Eventually I went to the 'cognitive training' company site to look at their Privacy Policy. That was such a great pleasure and I now have a complete and easy to understand concept of how they will use my information. Here is the part that makes every thing so clear:

Well, that's simple enough for even me! I now feel completely safe! What could
possibly be a problem?
