Bernie, I didn't pass out flyers because I didn't think of it; and no I didn't know we had t-shirts. Sneakers never told me.
He probably wanted to save his hard earned $$.
I did however, reset the home page on a few machines.
Bill, I've been unable to load this place. Sneakers and I are on a network here at home, with an Asante router and for whatever reason the board sees us as the same person ... and with IE, I flat out could not get this place to load. I recently moved to Opera 6 (it's better than it was, but still has some shortcomings), and now I can load the site -- unless Sneakers is here lurking.
Plus, when I come here and then he comes in later - is shows things as read for him. It gets confusing. So, I've kinda left this place for Sneakers to play.
Plus, I moderate a crochet list, and it's been ... ummm .... a major PITA over the past 7 months ... and that's kept me busier than I'd like.
Now - the Apple Store was way cool (although the loud music/noise about burst my eardrums). The staff was eager to help and answer questions, and loads of WORKING toys to play with (unlike compusa where things seldom work
).
I came home with the new HP game. I did have to whine a bit to get it ... but I have it. I'll probably wind up with flared tendonitis from playing it.
Oh - and I fell in love with Jaguar and the new Apple browser and now I want to upgrade ... but I talked to a kid who told me about backing up my drive in OS X ... and well, I'm going to have to think this over.
Anyhow, that's the long and short of it. Sneakers would probably tell you that he had fun, one-upped me on directions, and put up with my whining in the store. But if he did, I'd have to tell you how he got us lost and missed the restaurant ... and didn't feed me until almost 4pm! hahaha
take care ...
