Retailers are being asked to remove 12" and 17" Powerbook ads by today...does this herald improvements to these lines? Who knows...could be just another rumor...

Paddy.
I should sign up on that forum because after reading 'three' pages of their gibberish, some of my postings make a whole lot more sense.

With my 42 cards I'd be their leader. smile.gif Not to mention someone who still has 52 cards.

Seriously. Wouldn't mind one bit if the entire line of PBs were tossed some new coals under the hoods.

Actually, i feel like they are even obligated to change into new PB's, or at least the new G5 processors.
Who would buy a G4 powerbook now?
For the price of the new PB4s, it would be bad to buy one now, than see them change in a few months.
So... i think people would wait for the new ones anyway, and Apple probably just realise that to.
It's just a logical next step.
