There are 12 more buds/blooms on this Iris! wink.gif It's only bloomed two years of the 10+ I've had it! wallbash.gif Apparently, this plant is trying to teach me patience!

After the lawn crew mowed over my irises one year I learned to be less possessive about them.  These are some planted at Washburn Technical Institute which is one of the places my department has some sort of responsibility for!  These are the first I've gotten a good look at this year!

Washburn Technical Institute used to be Kaw Technical Institute and then it was run by my school district and a number of others.  Two years ago it was taken over by Washburn University.  We still have and Adult Education section over there and the day the picture was taken I was over there for the annual car show!

Wonderful backyard and flowers; I've always loved that color of iris!
