OT: A sure sign that I\'m using computers too much
« on: February 20, 2003, 09:29:00 AM »
And now the ultimate proof that I've gotten too dependant on computers. This morning my director emailed me a lengthy article and asked me to review it before an important meeting we both have to attend. After printing it out, I attempted to highlight a paragraph I thought was of particular importance. Using a yellow highlighter, I dragged it from the left corner down to the bottom right where the paragraph ended. This of course, resulted in a lovely slanted thin yellow line-- because yes, I forgot that I wasn't using a cursor.

Time for more coffee.

Rob, And of course you could always return the text with "Command+Z" annotated.

Could'a been worse Rob, you could have used the high-lighter on the monitor.

Glad you enjoyed it. All that was needed for the story was a soundtrack with my hand slapping my forehead with a Homer Simpson "Doh!".

A sure sign you're a Mac user: you're reading the newspaper and keep glancing at the upper right corner of the page to see what time it is.
MacBook Air (2015) running High Sierra, iPhone 6 S plus, iPhone 8, Hp wireless printer. Internet service provided solely by T-Mobile and the hotspots built in to the two iPhones.
