Noticed that NASA assumes that Martians may not be good at removing trash or cleaning up after themselves! Seems a rather defamatory characterization just because they are a vanished species.
I expected better from these scientists... I base this opinion on the description of SHERLOC:

Just because there may be pieces of the package wrappers blowing around or even bits of unconsumed noodles found, doesn't mean Martians were slobs! We sometimes have dirty dishes in the sink for weeks!!
