Bill,
Darn, I just bought a Nokia with US Cellular yesterday!

I could watch the soap operas. Always a day late and a dollar short! wink.gif

That was my first thought SB!

"US Cellular" out here gets nothing but bad reports. Think its because they haven't saturated the hillsides with cells yet like verizon.
Verizon actually has them camouflaged looking like trees in some areas now. smile.gif

Maybe I should have said
Why........Sell-A-Phone?
When advertisers will pay to give them away?
In any case it’s just another avenue for advertising.

Take Yahoo’s resent purchases, when asked why?
The answer was, to be the largest advertiser on the web.

So you’ll record your favorite Soap Opera on your cell and pay ¢.40 per minute to download or you’ll get it for free as long as your willing to be inundated with commercial ads while cruising down the Boulivard. wacko.gif

It's to be the first-one-on-the-block to make such a gizmo SB.
Sure advertisement goes along with the territory. How could it not?
Someone has to pay for the contraption. <gr>
