For a few years, I have been using LLP to make jewel case covers and other labels. It's not great, but fine enough for my purposes.
In recent correspondence with the developers, I asked when a version 7 will be released. The reply:
"LPP7 is being written from scratch in Cocoa. It will have every feature we can come up with. It will not be available until early next year, at the earliest."
