I had to stop using the SETI screensaver at work because the school district didn't like things that ate up bandwidth.  I was toying with the idea
of using it at home now that I have acceptable bandwidth at home.

On the topic of Science Fiction reading I just finished the first two books of the World of Prime by M.C. Planck:

The premise of someone accidentally ending up in another planet/universe has been mined pretty well but these books are fairly original in a lot of respects.
Nice play off between magic and science here as well!

Yep, they don't want people streaming video or audio and actively block it; except for Youtube which can be educational?
