Can not sync photos with iTunes
« on: November 02, 2016, 07:35:25 PM »
I have a big problem trying to sync the iPhone to my computer with iTunes. I had decided to get rid of photos and revert to iPhoto since I disliked not being able to have Photoshop open automatically to edit my photos. It caused me a multitude of problems, so I decided to go back to photos and just deal with it. I clicked on iPhoto to make sure it would not open when the phone was attached to the computer. Now I have a problem uploading photos to my iMac.  I get a message that the files are not recognized on most, but not all of my photos. To further complicate things, I can not sync my iPhone to the computer with iTunes. When the sync gets to photos, the message says that the "iPhoto library is not available and to try again later. The problem is that I am trying to sync to photos! Anyone have an answer to this? Only photos is on my phone, but both photos and iPhoto are on the computer, with only photos set to open when the phone is attached. I have found no help on Apple's support pages.  You guys are the ones with the answers!  Thanks in advance.

Am I going crazier? Or was this same post in another thread?! wallbash.gif

I suggest you post a screen shot of your iPhone/iPad/iPhoto/Photos settings. BTW, what is the actual name for Photos? Does it have a capital first letter or knot? To me saying you 'put photos in photos' is very confusing a 'state' with which I am most familiar! blush-anim-cl.gif laughhard.gif
THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF COUNTRIES
Those that use metric = #1 Measurement system
And the United States = The Banana system
CAUTION! Childhood vaccinations cause adults!

Yes, I did post something about it on another thread about a photo problem.  I will try to get screenshots.
