New Macs-rumors and gossip

I've been reading lots of speculative articles on the big Apple announcement coming on Oct. 27th. Some state there will be new iMacs (I hope, I hope, I hope), others speculate only new "laptops". Since my iMac is from mid-2011, and I'm beginning to see some hardware issues, I'm hoping for shiny, fast, affordable rolleyes.gif new iMacs.

Wondering what all of you have read, and what you think and are wishing for in a new machine.

"Affordable" would show they can still "think different". smile.gif I don't often read these 'rumor' reports. Although I sometimes make up my own! Just haven't found anyone willing to pay me for them... laughhard.gif

My husband needs a new iMac too.
I will keep my eyes open here for any info on the new upcoming things.

Different for me on a Macbook Pro or iMAC would be tougher and easier to upgrade an repair (thicker rather than thinner would go along with that). No gluing
things up as in an iPAD. A Mac Pro that isn't a fussy little round thing would also be good.  I'm sorry, but I work on these things and I'm tired if that going from
bad to worse!
