Well, you'll be depressed to learn that temps here were in the mid-60s today, the sun was shining, the air was clear and we could see for miles and miles (or kms if that's your thing), lush green fields with sheep and their lambs and lines of daffodils and crocuses in the grass in villages. (Strange when you consider we are almost on the same latitude as Saskatoon in Canada).
At the same time we've been warned that by Saturday we should be getting the tail end of Stella, though it may veer north and just hit Shetland (sorry Frances),
In fact one of our TV forecasters on Monday, giving his preview of the week, told us he had looked at Saturday's and (while almost falling about laughingl) told us he couldn't bring himself to tell us how bad it would be. So what IS he paid for?
