Jim - if the Swift you refer to is Swift Publisher, it has its own forum, which seems to be quite civil and helpful.

Thanks, but this "Swift" is a new language Apple has helped develop for coding their devices, it is basically Objective C in 'simple' english. It uses Xcode to build everything from the code to the interface and runs only on a Mac. You can get some idea of what it is at Apple.com/Swift.

I've found several other sites that have tuts and I'm watching a Stanford University "introductory" course right now. I'm pretending to be a Sophomore, hoping they don't find out I'm not even a Freshman!

I found a FB page that listed every group known to them (which is probably more than are known to man...). It had little "x" marks on each one. Unfortunately, clicking the "x" did nothing except minimize the info about the group. A page refresh brought all of them right back. I don't expect to use that group for much, any more. I'll probably wait a week and delete myself once again.
