Surprise, surprise. Only problem...tape does deteriorate. (30-40 years for today's tape is about it) So do DVDs and CDs - they say 100 years for them - but quality varies there too and I know of some that have deteriorated in less than a decade.

Paper...acid free (of course!) and stored in cool, dry conditions, lasts centuries. :D

Or you could carve it all in stone.  :LOL:
