How far behind am I?! MBP Starts Up Automagically!

Not only is Apple trying to force iOS software behaviors on us, they are also making their macOS using hardware more like their mobile hardware.

To turn on your Mac, press its power button, which is usually marked universal symbol for power. Some Mac notebooks also turn on when you open them, connect them to power, press any key, or press the trackpad.
First, I thought I was smart when I found out where the new MBP Power button was hiding (in plain sight). But I was astounded to find out why my wife's MBP was starting up after being Shutdown (not just "Restarted")!! :WOW:

I was even more astounded when none of the four different "advisors" seemed to know about this "feature"! It will be interesting to see if the 'genius' I see tomorrow afternoon knows about this behavior. I promise to be kind, even if they have no clue... Perhaps I could lend them this url where I found the Quote above.

Of course, I now have to explain to my wife why she can no longer operate without a user password... If you have a laptop with this new "feature" and leave it out of your site anywhere, someone can easily access whatever they want by simply opening the lid! Fortunately, since we both use 1Password instead of Keychain, any site that requires a password will still be off-limits. :wallbash:
THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF COUNTRIES
Those that use metric = #1 Measurement system
And the United States = The Banana system
