Intersting article in today's WSJ on cybersecurity

The last section in todays WSJ is really interesting, its on cybersecurity.
Things are changing fast. 
And on another note my grandson explained to me that Tesla was able to 'unlock' the full battery power for their cars during the hurricane.
I cant remember what he called it, but thats pretty cool.

So much new stuff that my old brain cant keep up with, its fun to read and talk about.

I only get to read WSJ in certain select waiting rooms but I wonder why Tesla wouldn't allow you access to "full battery power" at will; I'm thinking they reserve it some because of battery life issues. I guess I have accustomed myself to new stuff coming round because I've read Science Fiction since the late 1960's! That and being a technician!

I got an unverified email from "service.comms.yahoo.net" concerning the five (2012: unknown amount, 13: 3 Billion, 14: 500 Million, 15 + 16: 32 Million [slow progress? ]) major Yahoo data breaches. There is supposedly a "class action" suit to which any Yahoo user (during those years) is a "Settlement Class Member". The Settlement Fund of $117,500,000 will be for at least two years of credit monitoring or "Alternate Compensation". blah, blah, blah... Of course, part of the 'deal' requires you to provide even more personal information...

The "extra power" might help folks get farther away from the storm without having to search for a charging station/dealer... or farther from help depending on where the batteries die. I would hope their navigation system provides charging station info rather clearly and prominently.
