and Hello Ed,
Robin called me on her way back from all the hoopla
the afternoon of the event. I was so happy for her.
It was a funny conversation as she was on her cell
phone calling me and she was in a canyon, so her
connection kept getting cut off.
I am proud of her, but mostly for her. She is much
taller than I and prettier than the pictures I saw on the
website. I often wished that I had half her energy at
the same age. She has quite a few friends that would
do anything for her. She has worked hard all of her life
and she certainly deserves all the credit for her
accomplishments. When she was growing up, she was a
whirling dervish. She was always going, doing, and
experiencing and never have I seen such a zest for
living as she has.
She was honestly and truly amazed at the attention.
Fortunately, she does have a good head on her
shoulders. She has traveled a good deal and still does
some traveling within the US now.
One of the judges has invited her to visit her when she
gets to Nashville. She has a recording studio in her
home and wants to help Robin as much as she can.
A songwriter came up to her at the event and asked her
if she wanted to do demo tape singing. I don't know if it
is for a studio or just for his songs.
I told her to pray about all of this and sincerely seek
whatever God's will for her is.
She is an executive assistant for a vp of a company.
She learned how to do office work while working her way
through Hunter College in New York. The firm was an
agency that handled actors and she got to meet quite a
few well knowns. The skills she learned there and an
up close and personal look at famous people and how
they behaved will serve her well.
Anyway, how are you and what have you been doing?
Thanks for kind words and I will be sure to tell Robin.
Myrna
