Dick, It's been a while, but as I recall, I had no problems with the upgrade per-se, e.g, you will still need to verify which apps will no longer work or require updating. But I found this a fairly easy process and well worth the effort.

Ok lets try this again. How much trouble is it to upgrade from 9.1 to 9.2. Is it worth the trouble.

None at all; just run the updater. Any program that runs under 9.1 will run under 9.2.
However, the changes between 9.1 and 9.2 were designed to improve compatibility with OS X. If you aren't running OS X, and you have no programs that require 9.2, there probably isn't any compelling reason to upgrade.

Dick
,
I think I must have hit the Edit button instead of the Reply button. On the plus side, at least we know it isn't Bernie's fault (this time). I appologise.

Dick, I jumped from 8.1 to 9.2 and it was no big deal. If I can handle that transition, anybody can! I'd wish you luck, but you probably won't need any.

tacit just about explained the differences between 9.1. and 9.2.
It is slightly better on the surface. What Apple did under the hood? ... Have no idea.
I was going to mention my guess as to why the 'Oops' above but figured it wasn't my place to do so. Which it turns out I was correct. Harv, ya need to fine tune those skills bud.
