I Finally "Used" Siri
« on: November 29, 2021, 09:40:21 AM »
Sort of. Actually, I discovered that Siri is watching probably every thing I do with my iDevices.

I decided to send a birthday greeting a few days ago. Naturally, I used the two words, "Happy Birthday" in the message. No sooner than I had sent the message, I see a notification saying that "Siri" had noticed "birthday on November 28". "She" then offered to add this info to my Contacts. I would have been really impressed if "she" had traced the phone number and collected a name and address... But I would have been even more surprised (paranoid, even) if "she" had found the birth year!

Fortunately(?) I did not have to actually speak to Siri. I still don't think humans should have that kind of dangerous access to the powers of a computer! :nono: It's bad enough now with 'simple' communications' between people who can access powerful weapons; no need to multiply those.
THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF COUNTRIES
Those that use metric = #1 Measurement system
And the United States = The Banana system
CAUTION! Childhood vaccinations cause adults!

Just got a new iPhone 13 and set it up a few days ago. I have yet to use Siri or even have it turned on in any of the several iPhones I've owned. I'll continue that trend.
