Playing with iPod
« on: August 11, 2003, 11:14:06 AM »
I have a piece of classical music that I buy in"  iTunes Music Store" is divided in 26 tracks, some as short as 7 seconds others around 3 minutes.

Sounds fine on iTunes smile.gif, it plays one after another. But on my iPod sound with "cuts" it puts a small blank betwen tracks  sad.gif It sound like is interrupted.

The rest of the music sound fine.

Any ideas how to fix it?

Pascalin. Found this. smile.gif

"In response to the iPod user suffering from gaps in what should be continuous music, the answer lies in the Join CD Tracks Feature in iTunes. To fix the problem he'll need to re-import the tracks from the CD using Join CD Tracks, found in the Advanced menu, which tells iTunes to treat the multiple tracks as a single track. Once iTunes has it straight, then the iPod will too the next time it's synchronized, and the gaps will go away."
