For Twitter Users

Like Facebook, Twitter doesn't believe you could ever want to delete your account. :wallbash: Somehow they both think you must have made some kind of mistake.

The following link explains what has to happen before your account is actually "deleted". It will take 30 days of complete inactivity before your account is "deleted". Be sure any other app that is using Twitter has completely eliminated its Twitter activity, especially any activity that would be using your username and/or password.

Twitter may retain some information on your deactivated account to ensure the safety and security of its platform and people using Twitter. More information can be found here.

BTW, if you simply can't stand not knowing the trivia in the life of your "friends", here are some links to Mastadon:

Those that use metric = #1 Measurement system
And the United States = The Banana system

Having never used Twitter, I can't delete my account but I may establish one in order to do so. Why do I hate Twitter? How much time do you have for the complete list? BTW, I was not considering buying a Tesla but Musk has certainly not encouraged me to support his business.

LOL...Elon is a complete twit about some things (including Twitter - which I hated long before he bought it) but don't confuse that with Tesla. They're pretty terrific. We now have 2 of them - a 2018 model 3 and 2022 Model Y - and no ICE cars at all as of June. Our son has a M3, as of a couple of months ago. I think they're still well ahead of many of the other EV manufacturers; their battery tech (and range) is better, their over-the-air updates, including firmware - only Chinese manufacturer NIO also offers FOTA - add and improve features regularly. Are they perfect? No - of course not - but we had no doubts ordering a second one last fall - no other EV manufacturer came close. But Elon...yeah. A bit of a nutcase and definitely *not* my political cup of tea.

Don't need a new car, I'll be ~83 by the time we normally buy them; every 10 years. Who knows if I can even get a license then?! I would like to live long enough to see a Starship launch and land! It appears his earlier exposure to programming created a false sense of expertise in that area. His "schooling" at Stanford reminds me of a young man in our family. He said he already knew everything they were 'teaching' him after only one semester at Berklee! :WOW: :whistling: (no pun intended!) Fortunately, he found he had some skills of his own in programming. He now works at 1 Apple Park Way.
