OT: Changes on website.
« on: August 10, 2003, 07:10:26 AM »
Hi People smile.gif

New pictures and 6 little movies added to my website biggrin.gif
Have to say, the movies are about 350k in size for everyone.
Once stuffed together on a page by 4, the other by 2.
It seems the movies have to be fully loaded before you can actually see the movies with the QT controls.
Smiley said it didn't worked on Safari yesterday, but it did on Explorer.
It works for me on Safari though... i hope it works for others to smile.gif

One more question...
I'm looking for that sound utility, that was mentioned a while ago.
The one that records sound inputs from where ever it comes.
I'm still looking, but if someone can give me a link, that would be great biggrin.gif

Thx people, take care smile.gif

I ran into that one on my quest, but it's not the one i saw before.
Actually, the one i saw was (i thought) freeware.
And it seems Audio Hijack is pretty complicated to (judging on the screendumps).
At the end, i downloaded AudioX, which is also shareware but it seems this application works simple (something like iTunes interface) and after testing it, i'm pretty happy with this one smile.gif

Were you perhaps talking about Wiretap?

"WireTap is a free product for MacOS X 10.2 or later that allows you to record any audio playing on your  Mac, saving it to a file for later listening or processing.  This allows you to record news from Internet radio stations such as the BBC News, sound snippets from your favorite DVD movie, record the audio from a game, or even iChatAV conversations."

I can't find the "dvd extractor" software, so it's probably not very legal dry.gif
I would only use it for the songs.... (((sighs))) but who am i to say this biggrin.gif
I'll just use the sound recording tool John pointed me out to, that's good enough smile.gif

Thanks smile.gif

Wooohoooo, listening to he "Hero" cover from the Wallflower on mp3 now biggrin.gif
Yaaaay, now i finally can enjoy it whenever i want (who puts a dvd in and only play a song from it.... sigh)

WireTap records to AIFF but for some reason, the file was a little bigger than 10Mb (for 4 minute song) so that's not to big (should be about 30Mb).
Just watch other programs running on your puter while recording with WireTap, cause it REALLY DOES record all sounds, lol
I had a nice interuption from my iChat the first try doh.gif
Anyway, after that i dropped it on iTunes and converted it to mp3.

Myrious, your pictures and movies are very cool. They loaded quickly on my 'old' iMac G3 on OS 9.1. Question: How do I make the movies larger?  There is still a lot I don't know.   smile.gif

Hi Marcel

Just tried the movies on office PC - they open and run fine in Windows Media Player but, as always on a PC, they look a bit dark. Not your fault - just the way PCs display pictures. Doesn't seem to be a link for the Britpix, though... ?

two or three days late....but  wub.gif the changes!
Do not fear your enemies.  The worse they can do is kill you.  Do not fear friends.  At worst, they may betray you.
Fear those who do not care; they neither kill nor betray, but betrayal and murder exist because of their silent consent.

Fiona,
Nope, sorry... you can't scale embedded QuickTime movies on a website blush-anim-cl.gif

Highmac,
Don't worry, the movies (specially the Stuffies) ARE dark, cause they filmed inside, and the flash doesn't work on movie mode wink.gif
And nope, for some reason i lost the pictures from my trip to UK sad.gif
Maybe i should delete that section.

Jenny,
Thxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Jenny biggrin.gif
Well it's ok if you are a few days late, i'm late in replying to wink.gif
