Over the holiday weekend I'm thinking of trying to install OS X on a Wallstreet powerbook which is used by my Reason For Living. She's happy using OS 9.2, but there are times when I want to do OS X things on that machine.
From my reading, it seems that one must install on a partitioned drive, suing the first 8 gigs--that is since I still want a full OS 9 partition available.
It's a 233 G3 with 284 MB of ram and a 20 gig drive.
I want to keep most of my existing OS 9 stuff, so I thought I would copy all of it over to an external drive, reformat with partitions, then reinstall.
Has anybody done this? Am I overlooking anything? Is it worth doing?
