I'm not overly concerned about the article's spin.
M$ has never made any money off of IE...it was always free. Besides, there's Mozilla, Camino, Opera, OmniWeb...and so on.
Adobe Premiere is a non issue, FCP went after Avid and it's sporatic Mac support. Adobe AfterEffects is still developed for the Mac and that is of importance.
As the Mac operating system moves to 64bits it's more important than ever to have a slew of applications available to take advantage of that...the iApps will be first.
