iChatAV will expire?

Well, i started thinking about this today.
Will iChatAV Beta expire when the Final prorgram get released?
That would be sad cause i don't think i can miss Smiley's voice anymore
Or maybe the Beta will keep on working but the Final version might have more options?
And what if the Beta doesn't work anymore... will Europe be available to the Final version just as soon as US will, or will it be another iPhoto albums-iTunes Music Store-.Mac story?
(Europe following muchhhh later).
I do think iChat Final will be released with Panther, but i wasn't planning to install a new system on this iMac anymore.
But i guess when it has to... i will buy Panther.

Anyone knows?

It says here.

"iChat AV's beta version will expire on December 31, 2003, at which point the software will cost approximately $30 for use with Jaguar.  iChat AV is currently scheduled for release as part of the $129 Mac OS X Panther upgrade."

And from what I have heard, Panther will be the one you want to install on that iMac. I have heard that it runs faster and better on the G3's now.

 Hmmm, if that really is... than i should install it yes, but i was thinking it might be slower since it's yet another new system.
