Since I finally succeeded in installing Jag-You-Are last month, I'm spending more and more time 'in' X, gradually becoming increasingly comfortable w/ it.
For anyone who has yet to 'take the plunge', the Classic emulation in Jag is WAY better (in terms of 'responsiveness' and consequently, usability) than it was in 10.1.5 (subjectively, on my 'souped up' beige G3 DT - 400 MHz ZIF, 768 MB RAM) and Safari is an
awesome browser!
I am aware that if I restart while in X and decide during the boot process that I'd like to 'come back up' in 9.2.2, I can hold down the option key on the keyboard until I see the Classic 'smiley-Mac' - is there a key to hold down that will boot me into X after I have initiated a Restart from 9?
BTW, I know that I can accomplish this by using the Startup Disk Control Panel, but every once in a while I initiate the Restart and forget to select the other environment, or change my mind after I've made my selection, and I wonder if there's a way to force the Mac to ignore the selection stored in PRAM and make my choice 'on the fly'.
TIA,
