XKeys
« on: September 25, 2003, 12:56:09 PM »
Hi everyone smile.gif

It's finally here, a way to use the F-key functionality again.
Using Xkeys you can not only program the keys to open application/folder/multiple items, you can also program every F-key to bring up a new window, showing AGAIN your F-keys.
This means, on my end... i can use 11 F-keys (not sure why F12 isn't usable) and each of those 11 keys can bring me again 11 choises to choose from smile.gif
This giving me 121 files/applications/folders or even multiple items to open in one or two keystrokes.
I tried it, works really well.
The only thing i had is when i was installing it, there was a piece of software called "preflight" asking me to find "Fkeylistener" or something like that.
After a check on my harddisk, i didn't found that so i just cancelled that request.
After that, Xkeys got installed without problems.

Great piece of freeware smile.gif
