Photoshop for G5 problem
« on: September 29, 2003, 10:08:09 AM »
I was trying to install the G5 update for Photoshop. However, before doing so I needed to install PS 7.0.1. That installation always failed.
After checking Adobe's website I found out that this update was only working for English versions of Photoshop.
I was unable to find a different version of the 7.0.1 updater, though.
And without this update, I can't install the G5 update either.

Does anyone know, if there is a non-English update for Photoshop 7 (I couldn't find one)? I don't know in how far the lack of this update will affect me, but I'd like to squeze out as much performance as possible, as probably most of you understand. smile.gif

I hear Photoshop 8 (CS) is supposed to be out very soon, and that it gives a major speedup with the G5. You may want to just use your version of photoshop now (at a slightly reduced speed), and wait for the next version.
