Guess I should get back into astronomy on a much more regular bases because I'm way behind on what's out there these days. Probably won't though.

Off hand I can't recall the creators name but he's been developing a very good astronomy viewing program (similar too Starry Night Deluxe but much more complex in detail/up to date information) for Macs called Voyager.
I'm even behind with that one now. Heard that he has a OS X.2+ version out now.
I have the OS 9 (think it will run on 8.6. also.?.) version installed.
example one and two.
Actually I've got to retrain myself on how to use the program again plus Starry Night Deluxe.

About two years he made a statement that he wasn't going to make a version for windows. Not sure if that still holds but in the star circle crowd that spread world wide real fast.
