Um. Ok June. smile.gif

Sounds like you've done a Clean Install of your Operating System. (OS).

Well. It's always good to have that kind of experience.

You didn't need to do all that to change your Password.

But if you know what it is now, that's good. smile.gif

Kelly and Krissel...In looking back on my "episode" I think I know what I did wrong.  When I inserted the disk and a box came up, instead of looking up for  the menu at the top bar, as Kelly suggested, I clicked on continue, and just followed thru for a while,  then realized my error and started clicking the back button..well..it took me back just so far, and then would not let me escape. So..I started again, followed instructions and got the password in, but like a dummy, clicked continue again, and decided the eMac knew a great deal more that I do , so just let it do it's thing,  and it did...in spite of my ignorance. First thing I noticed missing today, was I had to reconfigure my printer, but otherwise everything seems to be in its' proper place......I have learned a  bit  more,  and am thankful for the powers that be that got  me out  of  my mess, and thankful for all of you here at TS. Big HUGS.....all around, June wub.gif
