Is it ever released for Mac? cause i can't seem to find it.

Half-Life was never released for the Mac.

And it never will be.

Rumors say that there actually is an early working application, but it was canceled when major problems in the porting process were found. I don't know any details, but fact is that it will never be finished.


Anyways, keep your fingers crossed that we'll see Half-Life 2 for Mac. I think the chance for that to happen is rather good. smile.gif

I heard a rumor that they WILL be shipping a Mac version of Half Life with every copy of Tech Tool Pro 4.  I can't wait...    tongue.gif

 You sure did Kelly, and i haven't forgotten but i just didn't looked into it at that time, as i thought Half-Life wouldn't be mine kinda game biggrin.gif
I changed my mind since i started to read about Half-Life 2.

A few good games are about to release for Mac, i should play lotto and hope for the jackpot  B)
Halo, Rainbow Six: Raven Shield, Splinter Cell (played it on PS2 though) and i guess some others.

I try real hard not to have games on my mac... I would never get anything done!  However, I did get a addictive kick out of those free games that dot mac gave me.  Marble Blaster is cool   tongue.gif
