My first Jag questions
« on: October 10, 2003, 04:09:41 PM »
If I'm running Jag, then have to open OS 9 to use an application, say that needs to print 25 or so pages, can Airport still keep me connected to surf?  Or does Classic (see, I'm not even sure what I mean) not let me use the Airport?

My very first post using the CUBE and in Jag, to boot.  Downloading the 10.2.8 combo update as I type, except when I have to stop and gaze adoringly at the CUBE

G4/500, 384 ram, Airport card connecting VERY WELL to the Trend TEW-311BRP wireless.

Since my internet connection is now wireless, will I be able to use the ethernet port for printing to the LW Pro? Can we can walk me through the process?

I'll have more questions when 10.2.8 is installed and I start using this.  I don't even want to start really using any flavor of X until it is all updated.

Happy Leader Day!

Yep. There will be no Airport interruption when you use Classic. At least there is none on my system.

I don't wanna guess and as I am uncertain, I think it's best if others reply to this issue. Though if it were my machine, I would give it a try. Really. (Can ya tell that I have never had an Ethernet capable printer?)

Congratulations on your new machine. smile.gif

What kind did you say it was? wink.gif

Just think of Classic as running another Application.

It's not really. But just think of it that way. smile.gif

Printing to the laserwriter from the Ethernet port will not be a problem.
