I saw three models at Costco last week,  CNET via a column in the SF Chronicle gave them high marks.

Any personal experiences/opinions out there???

I had two of them years ago and they were great, one was a 15" and the other 17".

I had no problems with them and the color of the screen was great, but I do prefer the Apple displays over all LCD's, but its' a matter of personal choice and of course quality.

Isn't there something a price difference between the Apple and Princeton displays?  I also tend to prefer the single pedestal of the Princeton vs. the "feet" of the Apple displays (sure hope I got the details right).

Mayo, I know when I was shopping for a monitor several years ago, the Princeton's were among the price leaders. I always wondered about their quality. I ended up getting a Mitsubishi Diamond Pro. I've always wondered if I paid more than I needed to, but the monitor has not required any of my monitoring.
Ya gotta applaud those bunnies for sacrificing their hearing just so some guy in Cupertino can have better TV reception.

One reason I like shopping at Costco is its liberal return policy.  I purchased an Epson printer from Costco that never worked right, and Costco cheerfully accpeted its return after 7 months, No Questions Asked.

Try doing that at your typical computer store!
