TechTool Pro 4
« on: November 08, 2003, 11:10:19 AM »
I was one of many that preordered TechTool Pro 4 and I think that some or you besides me have been waiting for the release of TechTool Pro 4 which as you know the release has been continuously delayed since sometime last spring. I have been anxiously waithing for it. Below is the reply that I got after i sent an inquiry to Micromat inquiring about the release.

We plan to release TechTool Pro 4 in November. Please be patient for the
receipt of the program as shipping could continue into December. If you have
any other questions, please feel free to send another email. Thanks!
Sincerely,

Thanks for the update. While I (too) am eager to receive my TTP 4, I am pleased that MicroMat is (apparently) well aware that Quality must/always be held paramount. As they say..."The bitterness of poor quality lasts much longer than the sweetness of meeting the schedule."

I would imagine the release or expected release of Panther may have something to do with the delay.

Thanks for the info, macdoug!  I was considering posting a question about TechTool 4's arrival.  Guess we will continue to wait.

Think about it.  MicroMat isn't going to keep rewriting their product over-and-over again.
Once Panther has settled down after the main showing .. "could continue into December" ... 10.3.1 release maybe.
