Mayo,

Yeah, the Tigard store is about 3.5 miles awasy in washington Square mall off Hwy 217. However, there is an independent Apple dealer within a couple of miles of me called The Mac Store which has several outlets in the Portland areas. I buy all my stuff from them including my G5 and will continue to do so. I would hate to see an independent go down the tubes. I remember what happened to Computerware inm the Bay Area although I have heard that Computerware's problem wasn't with Apple - they just failed to pay their bills from Apple and were shut down for financial reasons.

Further, I like The Mac Store as I don't have to fight for parking as I would in a huge Mall.

MamaMoose, they also have a store in Salem. That  is where I bought my computer and LCD.
