Hi Dick - and  welcome.gif back....

Hooray indeed! And our new anti-spam laws are now in force but, as this story says, it's a bit of a token effort since most spam originates outside the EU (Virginia perhaps?). But anything is better than nothing in the Canute-like efforts to stem the flood of sewage.  wallbash.gif

Is there a similar effort aimed at junk fax transmisions anywhere? (Is there a word for that? JFT won't cut it. How about Jiffy? Jiffy on top of Spam, hmmmm.... I digress.) We get about one a day at the office, usually trying to push an investment tip on stocks. I thought there was a law passed against sending these annoying Jiffies a long time ago. I call the toll free number to remove our fax number, but we get more with the same number later.

Spam has never been a problem on my office e-mail, and hasn't been coming at home for quite awhile now. I had some persistent ones, but they must have given up on me.
Ya gotta applaud those bunnies for sacrificing their hearing just so some guy in Cupertino can have better TV reception.

I'm SO sick of spam. Every time I buy something on Ebay, I can count on my spam increasing by 10 a day.
Should have set up a separate mailbox years ago but...who knew? Spaminator grabs so much it's scary, but a lot still gets through.
