If you like it, you should also take a look at SlimDevices.  They have something like the HomePod, only theirs is actually in the market. I think the call it the SqueezeBox or something like that.

Anyway, I was looking at these too. They look like a cool idea, but I was thinking, what can I do with this gizmo that I can't do with my iPod? I can connect it to my home stereo or home theater and listen to my tunes anyway. Another cool idea is the Networked DVD player from GoVideo (model is D2730). It is WiFi enabled (or wired ethernet if you like) and you can stream music, video and photos from the computer to the TV / Home Theater.
The only question is whether it is mac compatible... maybe through Virtual PC... Not a shabby DVD player either (progressive scan etc)
