Scanner problems

I just upgraded to 10.3 and now my Microtek ScanMaker 4850 won't work.  It worked fine in Jaguar two days ago, so I'm sure that it's a software problem.  I downloaded the latest software update from Microtek, but nothing works,  Anybody out there have a similar problem with scanning in 10.3?
