But do you have "Block Pop-ups" checked, Kelly? That appears to be the clue with Safari. Or at least with my version of Safari and Shockwave.

Safari does not work on my PB with or without "Block Pop-up Windows" checked and with Shockwave 7.0 plug-in installed.

What's a Pop-Up?
Of course I have them blocked.

Pop-Ups were Nabisco's answer to Kellog's Pop Tarts. Never caught on.

The link now works with Safari 1.2 and Java 1.4.2. At least it does for me.

So. Was it people with Panther that had these problems before?

I'm not really sure. Before Safari 1.2 and Java 1.4.2, the page did not load. I did not get a 404, but rather a new blank page. Now it's fine & dandy. I remain confused.

Kelly, you may be on to something. I got the same response as Harv describes with Safari. And now, as he states - it works!

After spending three days with the flu and still not over with it, kind of looks like me.

If you read some of the comments at the bottom of the page
HERE
, you will see many examples of people who have previous problems fixed in the new version of Safari.
Any yes, it does appear that this update was largely to fix problems caused by Panther.
