I just bought the 1200 printer for my iMac G4 OS 10.2.2. The new printer does not work with most of my applications including Word, iMail,and some of QuickBooks. I send it to the printer and it just disappears. The 1200 Readme file says to choose the new printer in Apple Print Center. Where is this located? I still have a HP Deskjet 932C printer attached. I would like to be able to print to the laser printer with all my applications. What can I do?

Hello,
You can find the print center located in the "mac hd" then open the utilities folder, you will see the print center located in there.
Also this link will give the current compatible printers with os x

Hope this helps. Printers aren't my favorite things to deal with, but I have learned a bit in my own personal quest.

go to the mac hd, then applications, and then utilities.

I found the print center and did what HP said to do. No help.

I checked the web site you suggested. It says OS 10.1 is supported, so I would think 10.2.2 would be also.

I just tried to print something and the printer will not print the last page. What is going on?

Well, going into the AppleCare, I did find this interesting article about HP printers, and some issues using OS 10.2

Seems there is difficulty using Hewlett Packard printers. Your 1200 is listed. The article number is 107052.

You should probably Update to 10.2.3

It fixed some problems with HP Printers.
