I learned of this source while on a cable hunt on ebay. B&A's ebay store is more or less a 'buy it now' for the 'stated price' if I recall.  The best way to establish contact is via e-mail request for part vailability and price confirmation.

I purchased an 8-pin 'switchbox cable' along with a real neat 'switch boxs' for $10.95 from B&A which allows me to share one modem between my side-by-side computers.  
Worked so well I bought another one for the printers.

Interesting thing I learned from this purchase was the difference between 'peripheral cables' and 'switchbox cables'. While both appear to be the same, they are not wired the same.  Switchbox cable wire terminations are 'straight-wired' to the same pins at the opposite socket-end, while the peripheral cable pins terminate in a 'mirror image' config.

As I'm looking for a long VGA cable to put between my G4 Tower and LaCie Electron Blue 19" monitor, this post came in handy, thanks...

...but I do have a question. I see the site has VGA and SVGA cables listed. What's the difference and which one do I need, any ideas?

More info on SVGA/VGA. Basically sounds like anything recent is SVGA, not VGA.

Yeah. Most things are referred to as VGA.  

But really they're SVGA or others.
