Anybody tried the new iPhoto yet?
« on: February 06, 2003, 07:58:00 PM »
I did, for the first time last evening. Simple, but wonderful, discovery . . . while downloading from my CoolPix 880, there appeared an iPhoto query (I'd not seen before) as to whether I wanted to download duplicate images to the Photo Library.

'Course not, and thereby a mildly irritating "feature" from then past just disappeared . . . poof!

Thank you, Apple.

I like it very much, too, especially the new additional templates for printing.

I'm not so sure about the enhancement feature yet, as I've been spoiled with Elements, but think I'll look at it again tomorrow.

I don't like iPhoto... the way it stuffs picture on it's database that is
The way it "orderly" stores files on my computer is such a way i'm loosing track.
Dates of the folder are US way and it's confusing.
I trashed iPhote a while ago (didn't installed it with my new clean install) and not thinking of having it back.
Anless someone tell me they changed the way how it stores files to drive?
The rest of iPhoto was good yes, but i'm using ImageReady these days (didn't installed PhotoShop as it was a program from work) and i'll save my pictures myself.
ImageReady is able to make scripts so you can work in batch and stuff, on most pictures this is a great help
