OS Updating

I am trying to update from OS 10.1 to 10 1.5. I've downloaded update 1.3 and update 1.5. I go throught the license agreement, etc. and get to the screen that reads "Select Destination" and the drives are grayed out. It happens on both updates. I can't get any further. What's next?

Have you tried the Combo Updater?
