Max Payne on a G3 400Mhz?
« on: February 07, 2003, 03:26:00 PM »
Does anyone has experience playing this game on a similar system?
According to the box it should work, but i can't really imagine that a game like that only needs a 400 G3?
this iMac only has 8Mb VMemory though, while the box said at least 16Mb VRam
But... Ghost Recons shows a minimum of 450 G3 and 16Mb VRam it it runs (nearly) perfect here, with a little tuning.
I think somehow my 640Mb Ram has something to do with this, that i can run Ghost Recon, but offcourse... that doesn't mean that Max Payne will do the same.
So, before purchasing the game, i thought of asking here.

Congratulations M_B.

Looks like it might be difficult to run that game.

You could always try it and play it on your next computer.

Yeah M_B. I think it will run on your machine. I played it in Classic Mode.

There's an OS X Patch available if you decide to try it.
