They probably couldn't hear the survey taker.

After using the players at full volume for so long they most likely heard "Which would you rather have, an iPod or a deer?"

Had a telephone surveyor call last night. Apparently wanted to know the internet, cable/SAT TV and telephone choices of adults (asked my age) who live in households where the total income is $25,000 or less. I didn't qualify, so it was a short survey.
