I was probably stitching to gether some shots of the ground prep for 2 ball diamonds and a soccer field on the churches property. Then trying to upload some QT movies to the church site. Fetch kept choking on the 9.5MB files. It would load almost exaclty half and 'stall'. Finally used "Resume upload' on a couple of them and realized that SpeedDownload could actually upload, as well. It sent the last file straight through without a hitch. But I do need to check that the files are OK.
Meanwhile, my wife is stacking the bed with clothes! "How about we just take 4 changes and do a load of washing to slow down the pace one day?" Sounds fine to me. I come back and there are 8 shirts and 4 T-shirts waiting to be folded! Women's 'logic'!
Next 'crisis' is how to get by with only 2 carry-ons per person. The kids already have their backpacks full of 'necessities' ( 1 each blanket and 'puppy' ), the Son and his wife have their two, Judy says the airlines will count her handbag as one, so I get to carry something for her...
My choice is to leave at home either the sleep machine ( apinia solution! ) or the laptop!
Both are vital to continued life! How to choose? I'm thinking of checking the breathing machine, I'm sure we can get one in Hawaii, if they lose this one. And insurance will pay for it. Sounds cheaper than trying to buy another laptop...OTOH, that would make a good excuse...but then there are all those bookmarks...No, the iBook stays with me.
By the time you read this, you'll probably be back in SFO and we'll be taking the Son and Daughter-in-Law to the airport. Their flight leaves at 6
AM!
We don't leave with the kids and our 8 carry-ons until 2 ( so much more civil ). I guess I can sleep on the way to Phoenix! Sure, in one of those little Canadair flying tubes ( not made for anyone over 5' 6"!
Trip from HNL to beach house will be after dark (
way after 'body' dark due to time change! ). The young parents will already be there, hope they leave a light on or maybe build a fire on the beach! :dancing:
I'll try to make contact with the TS Mid-Pacific representative sometime. I know we'll all be in Honolulu at least one day. Maybe we can bring some of those dirty clothes and drop them off?
